About
NewzBits reads dozens of RSS feeds so you don't have to β surfacing what matters, citing every source, respecting your time and your privacy.
Most news readers are built to maximise engagement, not comprehension. Headlines compete for your attention; feeds scroll forever; the same story gets republished a dozen times under different bylines. We built NewzBits because we were tired of the noise and couldn't find a reader that was both fast and genuinely honest about what it was doing.
The idea is straightforward: pull from the RSS feeds that real newsrooms publish, let AI distil each story to its essential facts, and always link back to the source so readers can go deeper whenever they want. No amplification. No hidden ranking. No editorial agenda layered on top of the reporting.
NewzBits is a work in progress. We're improving source coverage, AI summary quality, and translation accuracy every week. If something looks wrong or a source shouldn't be there, we want to hear about it.
We monitor RSS feeds published by established newsrooms across technology, business, science, world news, and more. Every story is traced back to the outlet that reported it.
An AI model reads each article and produces a structured brief: a two-line key takeaway, bullet-point highlights, and a short 'why it matters' note. The model is instructed to stick to the facts β no commentary, no framing beyond what the source says.
Source URLs appear at the bottom of every summary. Nothing is published without attribution. If a claim can't be traced to a source, it doesn't appear.
For categories and locales where coverage exists, summaries are translated into 11 languages by AI and checked for coherence. The original English is always the source of record.
Cite everything. Every summary links to its original source so you can verify any claim.
No editorialising. AI produces factual briefs; we don't add commentary or frame the story beyond what sources say.
Surface multiple viewpoints. When a story has more than one credible perspective, we try to include it.
Respect your time. The key takeaway comes first. You decide how far to read.
Privacy first. No account is required. Bookmarks and reading history stay in your browser β never on our servers.
Be honest about AI. Every summary is AI-generated. We label it as such. We don't pretend otherwise.
We source from RSS feeds published by established newsrooms. We do not aggregate social media posts, anonymous content, or unverified aggregators.
Summaries are generated by a large language model. They are AI-written and labeled as such. Errors can and do occur; source links are always provided so you can verify.
If a summary contains a factual error, please let us know. We investigate every report and aim to correct errors within one business day.
We don't publish native advertising as editorial. We don't rank stories by engagement metrics. We don't repeat the same story multiple times to fill space.
