Arbeitsniederlegungen, Märsche und andere Versammlungen sind für landesweite „May Day Strong“-Demonstrationen geplant. Tausende werden sich am Freitag anlässlich des Internationalen Tags der Arbeit einem wirtschaftlichen Blackout anschließen, im Rahmen von 3.500 „May Day Strong“-Veranstaltungen im ganzen Land. Mai ist seit langem ein jährlicher Protesttag der Arbeiterbewegung, und in diesem Jahr schließen sich viele aktive Bewegungen zusammen, um für „eine Nation, die Arbeiter über Milliardäre stellt“, zu kämpfen. Mit Forderungen nach „no ICE, no war“ und der Besteuerung von Reichen umfasst die Koalition May Day Strong Gewerkschaften, Migrantenrechtsgruppen, politische Organisationen wie die Democratic Socialists of America und die Organisatoren hinter den No Kings-Protesten.
